About
Harry is a freelance writer and music journalist based in the UK.
He has contributed articles on subjects as diverse as music, politics and poetry to many publications, both print and online.
Appearing every month in Powerplay Rock and Metal Magazine, his work has also appeared in Classic Rock, Sabotage Times, Kerrang! Soundsphere Magazine and Midlands Rocks.
In addition to press releases, album liner notes, features, biogs and ghost writing, he pens lyrics, interviews and other assorted ephemera.
Originally from Alloa in Scotland, he now lives in Nottingham, England, with his wife, freelance photographer, Sue, two of their three kids and four cats.
He plays guitar badly, stud poker erratically, chess with a growing consistency and eight and nine-ball pool with a degree of proficiency. He also loves Indian food, anything from the Laphroig distillery, Alloa Athletic and books. Passionately.
Oh, and the symphonies of Gustav Mahler. Equally passionately.
